I’m a documentary, street, and travel photographer based in Newcastle upon Tyne, with a passion for capturing the untold stories of resilience and struggle from around the world. Having travelled to over 90 countries, my work focusses on social justice movements, with a particular emphasis on the Palestinian fight for liberation. Each image I create is a testament to the power of human connection, using the lens of my camera to amplify voices that are often overlooked.
Throughout my travels, I’ve sought to immerse myself in diverse cultures, documenting not just the beauty of the places I visit but also the challenges faced by the people who live there. Whether on the bustling streets of a major city or in remote, forgotten corners of the world, I aim to bring awareness to issues of inequality and injustice through my photography.
Rooted in the North East of England, my work is inspired by both the local communities around me and the broader global experiences I’ve encountered. With a focus on social justice, I believe in the power of photography to create empathy, provoke thought, and inspire action. My goal is to document the human condition in all its complexity, particularly where stories of struggle intersect with hope. My journey as a photographer is fuelled by a desire to challenge injustices and offer a perspective that humanises complex global issues.
